Welcome to the Rurouni Kenshin Reader's Choice Awards!
Here is where Rurouni Kenshin fanfiction fans gather together to show our appreciation for the best of the best in Rurouni Kenshin fanfiction writing. This contest is run in a three-step process.
First, we open up to nominations by category to YOU the reader. Each nomination must be seconded and accepted by the author in order to enter the official voting and competition. Secondly, we open up the voting booth, and all nominations that make official entry are voted on and tallied. Finally, we announce the winners and celebrate. We hope to see you all participating and reaping the benefits of gathering together to show our appreciation of those who volunteer their time to entertain us with our favorite characters for free each year.

| Okay, so I finally got in all the final nominations. They have been updated. Authors, if you haven't accepted you have a little bit of time to make entry if you've been nominated and seconded. I will put the voting booth up once all the stories are loaded into MeijiTales.com. I'm hoping to have this completed before the end of the month, but ASAP. So you have a small window if you missed it or forgot or anything like that.
Authors that have qualified, please if you could help by loading your stories into the MeijiTales.com archives, that will speed up the process and help me out a lot. I'll try to cross post this in other places where we RK fans congregate. XD

| STATUS!!! 09 Nov 2007
| Okay, so yeah...been really busy again lately. Sorry. ;_;
Uhm...I'm going to set aside some time MONDAY the 12th to update with all the last minute nominations/accepts I got flooded with. (And, I mean FLOODED.)
And I need to start adding the stories to MeijiTales.com - so yeah ALL YOU QUALIFIED AUTHORS - if you could add your stories to MT.com that would help me out a lot, a lot, a lot. My goal is to get the voting booth going before the beginning of December.

| Nominations Phase Closed + Last Chance for Author Accepts! 01 Oct 2007
| Update:
2006 nominations are NO LONGER being accepted. I received just under 100 last minute seconds and accepts...I will try to update that and get the voting booth going ASAP. Stay tuned.
In the meantime, authors - if you haven't sent in your acceptance yet - this is your grace period. You have from now until I do the final update to send it in. Once I do the last update you auto-disqualify.
